To install the mouse:
- Connect the mouse to the computer without using a hub or extension cable.
- The computer will recognize the mouse and install the built-in driver. This might take a few moments.
- When the mouse has been installed on the computer, you can download and install the software to configure the mouse.
- Go to the Downloads section of the product page.
- Choose your operation system and click the “Download” button to download the software to your computer.
- Click on the downloaded file and follow the installation wizard.
- Click on the “GXT160GAMINGMOUSE.EXE.exe” shortcut to start the software.
- You can now start to configure the mouse.
- Refer to the advanced manual (available on the product page as well) for more information.
It is not possible to completely turn off the lighting.
Via the software, you can adjust the lighting effects.
You can switch this off following these steps:
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Click on System and Security
3. Click on Schedule tasks
4. Delete the task Gx-GmTaskPlan

If you don't see the MACRO button and other options in the software screen/Key Setting, you need to check the DPI scaling behavior of the computer:
