Ecodesign approach
To reduce our environmental impact we design products – right from the start of the innovation and design process – with the end of life in mind.
We aim to design all our new products and services in line with our EcoDesign guidelines. This means improving the energy efficiency of our products, using less resources and more recycled content, avoiding the use of hazardous substances, designing for circularity, and making our packaging easier to recycle and re-use.
What happens to your device?
All Trust products have parts that can be recycled and used to make new products. Recycling reduces unnecessary trash and preserves valuable resources. In a recycling facility they’re processed to recover the valuable resources inside, which can then be used to create new products.
You can help by taking used electronic waste, not just Trust products, to a local partner retailer or recycling centre.

You can take action
- Make sure your old devices stay out of the trash
- Separate batteries and packaging from the device itself
- Put all electrical and electronic equipment (marked with a ‘crossed-out wheeled bin’ symbol) aside for drop off or collection
- Check out the links below to find your nearest recycling centre or retailer. Local recycling partners can help ensure your old products are recycled.

You can hand in old and used batteries and digital accessories at various collection points:
- In the store or at the online service where you buy a new similar product
- In different stores or other locations with a collection point
- At the recycling centre of your municipality.
